Job summary

Basic-Fit is seeking a Business Controller to support the DACH region with financial insights and strategic partnership. You will work with the Business Control team to drive analysis, forecasting and reporting, partnering with operations and the finance function across multiple sites.

The role requires a finance-focused degree, 3+ years in finance with emphasis on business control, strong communication in English, and additional German or Dutch language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics (HBO/WO).
• Minimum 3 years working experience, 5 years in Business Control.
• Self-starter with strong team skills.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with strong influencing abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• German or Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Experience in multi-site operations and retail is a plus.
• Ability to respond to business needs in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and attend Business Review Meetings between operational management and the Board.
• Ensure timely submission of deliverables and drive decision-making through financial analysis.
• Improve the quality of management reports and business analysis.
• Be a key player in the rolling forecast process.
• Act as liaison between Business and Finance departments.
• Identify and address possible business process improvements.
• Contribute to various companywide projects and working groups.
