Job summary

Samsonite is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our concessions at de Bijenkorf in Amsterdam and support teams across Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague. You will drive commercial performance, coach senior sales staff, and ensure a premium brand experience in every location.

You will combine strong operational leadership with keen commercial insight, translating KPIs into actionable plans, maintaining store standards, and travel regularly between sites.

• Proven Store Manager experience in premium retail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales performance across concessions and implement targeted actions to achieve business objectives.
• Identify commercial opportunities and translate them into concrete initiatives on the shop floor.
• Work closely with the Senior Sales Advisors to continuously improve results.
• Coach, motivate, and develop the teams across the different concessions.
• Inspire employees by sharing best practices and fostering a strong customer-focused culture.
• Support workforce planning, onboarding activities, and employee development.
• Ensure customers enjoy a premium Samsonite experience in every location.
• Monitor service standards and ensure teams maintain a high level of product knowledge.
• Act as a true brand ambassador and bring Samsonite's values to life every day.
• Ensure the correct execution of procedures, stock management, and operational processes.
• Maintain a consistent and attractive store presentation across all locations.
• Oversee the successful implementation of promotions, campaigns, and commercial activities.

Ready to take our Samsonite concessions at de Bijenkorf to the next level? Are you an experienced Store Manager with a passion for premium brands, exceptional customer experiences, and team development? As Store Manager de Bijenkorf, you will be responsible for the commercial performance and day-to-day management of our Samsonite concessions within de Bijenkorf. Your primary focus will be our concession in Amsterdam, where you will spend most of your time. In addition, you will support and coach the teams in Eindhoven, Rotterdam, Utrecht, and The Hague.

These locations are staffed by experienced Senior Sales Advisors who work independently, while you act as their key point of contact for performance management, operational excellence, and ensuring a consistent Samsonite brand experience across all locations.

Your Challenge

Commercial Management

Who Are You?

• You have proven experience as a Store Manager in a premium retail environment.
• You possess strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• You are analytical and know how to translate KPIs into actionable business plans.
• You are entrepreneurial, results-driven, and comfortable taking ownership.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
• You are flexible, willing to work weekends, and prepared to travel regularly between our de Bijenkorf locations.
• You are customer-oriented, energetic, and capable of inspiring and motivating others.
