Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a storage engineer, specialist or architect to support enterprise storage, data-protection and related infrastructure services in our Netherlands team. The role focuses on keeping platforms available, resilient and able to meet workload requirements across capacity and performance.

You will monitor capacity and performance, resolve incidents, and work with cross-functional teams to implement provisioning, maintenance and DR capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise storage technologies and architecture.
• Knowledge of data protection, DR concepts and ransomware resilience.
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS environments and storage networking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor capacity, availability and performance of storage platforms.
• Resolve incidents affecting storage access, replication and data protection.
• Provision and configure storage per standards and automation guidelines.
• Perform maintenance, patching, upgrades and lifecycle activities.
• Support SAN, NAS, block, file and object storage services.
• Maintain replication, backup and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Analyze performance bottlenecks and capacity trends.
• Collaborate with server, virtualization, network, database and cloud teams.
• Maintain diagrams, recovery procedures and configuration records.
• Lead complex storage/data-recovery incidents at higher levels.
• Contribute to storage architecture decisions and roadmaps.
