Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Storage Engineer, Specialist or Architect in the Netherlands to manage enterprise storage, data-protection, and related infrastructure services. You will ensure platforms are available, resilient and capable of meeting workload requirements across SAN, NAS, and cloud storage, with a focus on performance and capacity management.

The role involves collaborating with server, virtualization, network, database and cloud teams, maintaining documentation, and driving automation

Qualifications

Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS environments and storage networks.
Experience with backup, recovery and data protection.
Ability to analyse performance bottlenecks and capacity trends.

Responsibilities

Monitor capacity, availability, utilization and performance.
Resolve incidents affecting storage access, replication, performance and data protection.
Provision and configure storage according to standards.
Perform platform maintenance, patching, upgrades and lifecycle activities.
Support SAN, NAS, block, file and object-storage services.
Maintain replication, backup and disaster-recovery capabilities.
Analyse performance bottlenecks and capacity trends.
Work with server, virtualisation, network, database and cloud teams.
Maintain configuration records, diagrams and recovery procedures.
Automate provisioning, monitoring and reporting where appropriate.
Lead resolution of complex storage and data-recovery incidents (L4).
Define storage architecture, data-placement strategies and technology roadmaps (L5).
