Job summary

GXO Logistics in Lelystad is seeking a Stock Controller to oversee stock in the Distribution Hub and workshops, ensuring goods availability and smooth operations. You will analyze stock movements, investigate discrepancies, and support process improvements within a busy logistics environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree/HBO and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills and professional English (Spanish a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/HBO in related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in related/similar position.
• Experience in invoice Controlling, Admin/Stock Department and Logistics/warehouse knowledge.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and comfortable performing analytics with large data sets.
• Think in processes and improvements.
• Knowledge of English at a professional level essential with Spanish an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive and able to interact and take initiative when it is needed.
• Flexibility to respond to sudden changes in circumstances and unexpected difficulties.
• Anticipate & responding positively to changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of stock within the Distribution Hub and workshops to ensure the availability of goods at the Distribution Hub.
• Manage incidents and resolution (delivery and delays at stores).
• Stock movements analysis (returns, defects, etc.).
• Plan and coordinate internal and external inventory audits.
• Recording entries from suppliers into the system.
• Generating stock movements and analysing them.
• Propose improvements related to logistics processes.
