Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Stock Controller to oversee inventory accuracy and warehouse operations at our Moerdijk site. The role involves checking incoming and outgoing orders, coordinating replenishment, and performing inventory management tasks using our WMS system.

We value hands-on, detail-oriented candidates with experience in warehousing, strong Excel/MS Office skills, and the ability to analyze data and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehousing operations and warehouse processes.
• Proficient with Excel, MS Office and MS Access.
• Accurate and detail-oriented with a strong logistics mindset.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Checking the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing orders and goods.
• General follow-up of warehouse activities (repacking, timely replenishment, etc.).
• Administrative tasks related to inventory management.
• Root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Preparing internal and external stock reports with the WHS supervisor.
• Inspecting storage locations for missing goods and suggesting improvements.
• Conducting regular inventory checks and ABC analyses.
• Monitoring expiration dates and aligning with customer requirements.
• Managing stock physically and in the WMS system.
• Supporting the onboarding of new customers with advice and guidance.

Your Responsibilities as Stock Controller:

• Checking the quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing orders and goods
• General follow-up of warehouse activities (repacking, timely replenishment, etc.)
• Performing administrative tasks related to inventory management
• In case of quality issues, you implement corrective measures following a root cause analysis
• You are responsible for periodically sending out internal and external stock reports, in coordination with the WHS supervisor
• You inspect storage locations for missing goods and identify potential improvements
• You perform regular inventory checks
• You specify item characteristics for new products and carry out periodic ABC analyses
• You monitor expiration dates of goods and follow up in line with customer requirements
• You manage stock both physically and systematically via our WMS system
• You actively participate in the implementation of new customers, offering support and advice

Who we are looking for:

• Experience with warehousing operations, warehouse processes and logistics equipment (forklifts, safety procedures, etc.)
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and MS Access
• Accurate and detail-oriented
• Strong affinity with the logistics industry
• Able to quickly identify patterns and come up with creative solutions
• Someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
• Fluent in both spoken and written English, if you speak Dutch that's a plus
