Job summary

IDM Eindhoven is seeking a construction fitter/welder to assemble and weld steel staircases and balustrades in a technically challenging environment. You will work from drawings and perform metalworking tasks, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has MIG/TIG welding experience, a solid grasp of drawings, and a VCA certificate, with good English communication. A full-time, long-term role in Eindhoven offers attractive benefits and stable prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a construction fitter and/or welder.
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG welding (certifications are a plus).
• Strong understanding of technical drawings.
• Having a VCA certificate.
• Attention to detail and precision in your work.
• Ability to communicate in English at a B1/B2 level.
• A valid driver’s license (preferred).
• A team player with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble staircases and balustrades based on technical drawings.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG methods.
• Carry out metalworking processes such as grinding, sawing, and drilling.
• Ensure quality and safety compliance of welded structures.
