Job summary

IDM Eindhoven is seeking a skilled pipefitter to assemble piping systems from isometric drawings. You will prepare pipes for welding, bevel grinding, and root openings, while handling bending machines, saws, and grinders.

You’ll tack-weld with a TIG welder and work on both thin- and thick-walled pipes, ensuring secure clamps and accurate assembly. The role requires independent work ethic, strong technical skills, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets isometric drawings to fit piping systems.
• Prepares pipes for welding, including bevel grinding and creating root openings.
• Uses bending machines, saws, and grinding tools.
• Tack-welds pipework using a TIG welding machine.
• Works with thin- and thick-walled pipes of various diameters.
• Properly clamps and assembles pipe sections.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting isometric drawings to fit piping systems.

• Operating bending machines, saws, and grinding tools.
• Tack-welding pipework using a TIG welding machine.
• Working with pipes of various wall thicknesses and diameters (thin- and thick-walled).
