Job summary

Start People is seeking an experienced TIG-Welder for on-site work in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. You will read technical and 3D drawings to fabricate stainless steel piping systems and components with high precision, handling 10–100 mm tubing and 1–3 mm wall thickness, ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment.

The role requires a TIG stainless steel qualification EN 287 Level 3/4 or Level 2 with relevant experience, ability to purge piping, and reading drawings.

Qualifications

• Must have TIG stainless steel qualification EN 287 Level 3/4 or Level 2 with relevant experience.
• Experience TIG welding stainless steel piping and components.
• Experience purging stainless steel piping.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and 3D drawings.
• Experience assembling and tack welding tube and box-section constructions.

Responsibilities

• TIG-welding stainless steel piping and components.
• Working from technical and 3D drawings.
• Working with stainless steel tubing from 10 to 100 mm in diameter.
• Working with wall thicknesses between 1 and 3 mm.
• Purging piping systems before welding.
• Assembling and tack welding tube and box-section constructions.
• Ensuring accurate dimensions and alignment.
• Inspecting your own work and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Cutting pipe materials using a sawing machine.
