Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision Groningen, the Netherlands, is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer with specialty in automation and OT to support automation, equipment implementation, validation, and site-level OT cybersecurity at our surgical lens production facility in Groningen.

The role combines delivery of compliant automation solutions with practical application of established enterprise security policies, ensuring audit-ready documentation, and effective collaboration across

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
At least 7 years in automation, OT and cybersecurity within regulated manufacturing.

Mansioni

Lead automation projects from requirements and design through implementation, validation, handover and operational support.
Develop and maintain compliant project and validation documentation (URS, risk assessments, test plans, FAT, IQ/OQ/PQ, reports, SOPs, change controls).
Design, integrate, troubleshoot, and improve PLC, SCADA, HMI, robotic, vision and related systems for safety, reliability, quality and productivity.
Act as site SME for OT and cybersecurity, applying enterprise policies and standards locally.
Maintain OT asset inventory and document the security operating model and governance.
Define procedures for enterprise security (password management, patching, maintenance) with IT coordination.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, GxP, CSV, EHS, FDA, ISO 13485 and internal quality/cybersecurity requirements.
Analyze performance, lead structured problem solving, and communicate data-driven recommendations.
Collaborate across Engineering, IT, OT, Cybersecurity, Quality, Operations, R&D and suppliers; train users.
