Johnson & Johnson Surgical Vision Groningen, the Netherlands, seeks a Staff Manufacturing Engineer specialized in automation and OT to drive compliant automation projects at our surgical lens facility. Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant automation, OT, and cybersecurity experience in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience designing, implementing, validating, and troubleshooting automated systems (PLC/SCADA/HMI, robotics, vision).
• Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity, asset management, patching, and site-level policy application.
• Excellent documentation, change control, and compliance with cGMP/GxP/CSV.
• Professional English communication; Dutch not required but a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead automation and equipment projects from requirements to implementation and support.
• Develop and maintain compliant project and validation documentation (URS, risk assessments, FAT, IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Design, integrate, troubleshoot, and improve PLC/SCADA/HMI, robotics, and vision systems.
• Act as site OT and cybersecurity subject matter expert for policy interpretation.
• Maintain OT asset inventory and support risk-based assessments.
• Define procedures for password management, patching, and maintenance in coordination with IT.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (cGMP, GxP, CSV, FDA, ISO 13485).
• Collaborate across Engineering, IT, OT, Quality, Ops, R&D and suppliers; mentor staff.
