Job summary

Vinted is seeking a Staff/Senior Staff Security Engineer to be the first dedicated security engineer in IT. You will own security across hardware, software, networks, and identity, partnering with IT engineering teams and stakeholders to reduce risk and improve resilience.

You will build security capabilities, automate controls, and lead security engineering initiatives across Vinted's distributed environment, including warehouses, verification centres, and office networks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineering at scale across endpoints, identity and apps.
• Engineering mindset: automate, script, manage IaC, build security as a product.
• Able to influence security practice and translate risk to business terms.

Responsibilities

• Own IT security roadmap end to end and drive risk to closure.
• Evangelize security and raise security fluency across IT engineers.
• Secure devices, identity, and software stack with secure defaults and controls.
• Build security into IT development and operations, as code and automation.
