Flexport is seeking a Staff Applied AI Engineer for Autonomous Supply Chains at our Amsterdam hub. You will shape the agents that run real logistics work, tackling high-leverage problems and shipping products with minimal specs.

You'll work with a senior team across the organization, implementing end-to-end AI solutions, staying current with AI advances, and collaborating with operators and domain experts to turn ambiguous problems into shipped products in a fast, global environment.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/LLM work.
• LLM fluency: agent patterns, tool use, RAG, and prompt design.
• Full-stack capability in TypeScript and Next.js.
• Product instinct: decide what’s worth building.
• Experience leading ambiguous, cross-team technical work.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Set the technical direction for Forge and its agents.
• Design and ship end-to-end AI agents for real logistics work.
• Build evaluation, guardrails and human-in-the-loop flows for 24/7 operation.
• Stay updated on AI advances and apply them to the product.
• Collaborate with operators, domain experts and leadership to ship products.
• Cross-organizational collaboration to solve problems and align stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and raise team standards.
