Flexport is looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join the Autonomous Supply Chains team in Amsterdam. You will design and ship AI agents that automate complex logistics tasks and integrate state-of-the-art models into our platform.

In a hybrid setup, you’ll work with operators and leadership to deliver trusted, production-grade solutions. English is our working language, and you’ll collaborate with teams across the US and China.

Formación

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with LLMs in production or strong side projects.
• LLM fluency: agent patterns, tool use, RAG, prompt design and evaluation.
• Full-stack capability in TypeScript and Next.js; own a feature end to end.
• Clear written and spoken communication in English, including design docs.

Responsabilidades

• Design and ship end-to-end AI agents that handle real logistics work.
• Build evaluation, guardrails and human-in-the-loop flows for trust and safety.
• Stay on top of AI advancements and apply them to the product.
• Work directly with operators, domain experts and leadership to ship products.
• Move fast from idea to production and learn from deployments.
• Collaborate across organizational boundaries to get things done.
