Overview

Sr. Accounts Payable Officer role at iPS Select (B Corp). In this position, you will oversee the accurate processing of invoices and payments across various ongoing projects within our client's organization. Your role ensures that all financial transactions are handled with precision and that incoming invoices are thoroughly reviewed and correctly paid.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter invoices into the accounts payable system accurately and on time.
• Monitor aging reports to prioritize payments based on due dates and cash flow.
• Collaborate with departments such as Crewing and Warehouse to verify contractor and equipment-related invoices.
• Maintain organized supplier records and ensure proper documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting tasks.
• Contribute to improving AP workflows and automation for greater efficiency.
• Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and mentor junior AP staff as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s level education with a solid financial background and proven experience in a finance department.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
• Skilled in problem-solving and process improvement, with a focus on professionalizing workflows.
• Experience in the Renewable, Offshore, or Maritime industry is a plus.
• Because of the job location the candidates must possess an EU citizenship or residency/work visa in The Netherlands.
