Job summary

Telespazio Belgium is seeking a Dependability and Safety Support Engineer to join our ESTEC-based team in the Netherlands as a contractor for ESA programs. You will contribute to RAMS requirements, perform risk assessments, support CDF studies, and help ensure dependability and safety across ground systems.

A relocation to the Netherlands is required; some on‑site presence and Teams interviews are expected.

Qualifications

• RAMS engineering experience on space programs.
• Experience in safety-critical system design.
• Hands-on RAMS analyses for hardware and software.
• Familiarity with ECSS dependability and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project RAMS requirements within ESA baseline.
• Support evaluation of contractor plans and risk reduction actions.
• Perform risk assessments and safety analyses for CDF studies.
• Evaluate dependability analyses and accept/reject recommendations.
• Support safety data package preparation for authorities.
