Job summary

Terma Space, part of Terma Group, seeks a Ground Segment IT Infrastructure Engineer to join ESA IRIS2 support at ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. You will be embedded in a Technical Assistance Service Team delivering large-scale IT infrastructure solutions for space-grade ground segments.

We expect a university degree in IT/CS and at least 4 years of international experience, with hands-on knowledge of containerised apps, data centre architectures, networking, and automation (Docker,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT, Software Engineering, CS or similar; certifications desirable.
• At least 4 years' international IT experience.
• Deep knowledge of scalable, containerised applications across environments.
• Knowledge of data centre architectures, networking and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell).
• ITIL knowledge desirable; prior knowledge of large space project ground segments is useful.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for ground IT infrastructure solutions, with deep knowledge of scalable and containerised applications across environments.
• Support deployments, reviews, and milestones of the IT infrastructure per requirements.
• Interface with system/subsystem engineers, operations, security teams and industrial partners for infra installation.
