Job summary

GEHECO, a Delft-based startup, is seeking a Master’s student in Engineering to join our hands-on development team for a five-month internship starting Jan 2027. You will design a sensor system to identify soil types at the drill head and build a working prototype using available hardware and software tools.

You will validate the sensor in the lab and during field tests, collaborate closely with a small team, learn by doing daily, and contribute fresh perspectives to advance our pragmatic

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master degree in Engineering.
• In 3rd or 4th year with average grade ≥ 8/10.
• Able to create hardware and software prototypes.
• Legally allowed to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and create a sensor to detect different soil types at the drill head.
• Validate the sensor in lab and field tests.
• Collaborate with a small team to improve the product.
