Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Software Tester to join a partner company in the Netherlands. You will contribute to software quality across a complex enterprise technology environment, validating new digital solutions, existing applications, and operational systems before users access them.

You will work across the full testing lifecycle, planning tests, creating test cases, executing them, and managing defects to ensure releases meet functional and technical quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in test planning and test case development.
• Ability to perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Defect management and clear reporting for investigation and resolution.

Responsibilities

• Support verification and validation across new solutions and existing systems.
• Participate in complete software testing lifecycle from planning to release validation.
• Create, maintain and execute detailed test cases and scenarios from requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and release testing to identify issues before production.
• Identify, document and track defects with clear information for resolution.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before closing issues.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to software quality within a complex enterprise technology environment.
You will play an important part in validating new digital solutions, existing applications, and operational systems before they reach users.
Working across the full testing lifecycle, you will help ensure releases meet functional, technical, and quality expectations.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, business, and quality teams within Agile and DevOps environments.
Your work will include test planning, test case creation, execution, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management.
The role is well suited to a structured and analytical tester who enjoys identifying issues and turning findings into reliable solutions.
You will help strengthen software quality while supporting continuous improvement across testing and release processes.

Accountabilities

• Support software verification and validation activities across new digital solutions, existing applications, and operational systems.
• Participate in the complete software testing lifecycle, including test planning, scenario development, execution, reporting, and release validation.
• Create, execute, maintain, and update detailed test cases and test scenarios based on functional and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and release testing to identify issues before software reaches production.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects, providing clear information needed for investigation and resolution.
• Retest resolved defects and verify fixes before closing issues.
