Job summary

Mouseion Professors Limited is building AI-powered teaching software (Odea) for educators and students in Amsterdam. This role blends careful engineering with model design, shipping tools that are easy to use and ship quickly to real classes.

You will own educator-facing surfaces, invent interfaces for AI-assisted work reviews, and tighten the delivery path from document upload to a usable page, ensuring accessibility and reliability.

• Own surfaces educators live in: course structure, the reader, chat, and access controls.
• Design interfaces for reviewing AI-assisted work so staff can trust what students see.
• Improve the path from document upload to a usable page, including failure states in production.
• Make accessibility a product property with focus, contrast, and accessible naming.
• Coordinate across UI and Hermes contracts to deliver complete features.

The Mouseion holds a small, talent-dense team building AI powered software for teaching and learning. About the role

You blend careful engineering with a taste for models and design. You have a knack for making powerful tools without compromising their ease of use. What you ship reaches real courses the same week.

Product engineers create the software we ship to educators and students, in particular the Odea interface. As a member of the product team, you will help invent a clearer way to teach and learn with AI.

• Owning surfaces educators live in: course structure, the reader, chat, and the settings that decide who can see what.
• Inventing interfaces for reviewing AI-assisted work so staff can trust what students see.
• Tightening the path from a document upload to a usable page, including the states that fail in production.
• Making accessibility a property of the product, not a pass at the end: focus, contrast, and names that hold up.
• Working across the UI and Hermes contracts so a feature is complete, not half-wired.
