Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Engaige is seeking a Senior Product Engineer in Utrecht to own features end to end—from what we build to how it looks, code, rollout, and the metrics that show success. You’ll work closely with customers, translating their needs into shipped software with a small, senior team.
You’ll sit in our Utrecht office with a preference for in-person collaboration, while flexible working is discussed. You should bring 5+ years shipping great software, ideally in startups, and a strong product mindset.

Own features end to end: what we should build, what it should look like, the code, the rollout, and the number that tells you it worked.

Engaige is the e-commerce AI support agent that autonomously answers and resolves tickets by taking action across the e-commerce stack.
Brands like MR MARVIS, Otrium, Baskèts and HelloPrint use Engaige to scale their customer support without hiring. We go live in hours, resolve 60-80% of supported tickets, and climb toward 90% as the system learns from the team's own work.
We are a small, senior team in Utrecht, with paying customers and a roadmap that moves weekly.
You own features end to end: what we should build, what it should look like, the code, the rollout, and the number that tells you it worked.
You will sit with customers, work out what they actually need, and ship it by yourself or with our small team.
We work from our office in Utrecht, and we prefer it that way: a small team in one room is more fun, and it works better. We do offer flexible working, and the specifics are open to discussion.
We move fast, and enjoy working with others that do too. An idea can be in a customer's hands the same day.
Strong opinions, loosely held. We would rather find out we were wrong from a customer this week than be right about it next quarter, and nobody here defends a position just because it's theirs.
Beautiful products that work, do the job they are meant to do in the simplest way possible, and that people enjoy using. Getting to simple takes longer than shipping everything, and it is worth the time.
We are open with each other about what is working and what is not, including the uncomfortable parts. It is the fastest way for the team, and the product, to get better.
We build primarily with Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, and the whole company is organised around working that way.
