LEERUNIEK is a profitable, mission-driven EdTech company around 20 people, building a platform that turns complex educational data into actionable insights. As a Software Engineer, you’ll strengthen the technology team and help elevate the platform and development process to the next level.

You’ll work with Python, Django, JavaScript, React and cloud technologies, own meaningful parts of the stack, ship features, and contribute to architectural decisions in a small, English-speaking team that

Qualifications

• Several years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or comparable technologies and across a stack.
• Built and maintained production software.
• Enjoy shipping new functionality and improving existing systems.
• Care about architecture, maintainability and testing with user speed.
• Active interest in AI-assisted development and learning.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new functionality across our stack.
• Take ownership of meaningful parts of the platform, from problem to deployment.
• Deepen shared ownership and knowledge across the codebase with the team.
• Improve and modernise the platform where it creates value.
• Develop new capabilities with product, data science and education specialists.
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions.
• Help evolve engineering practices and AI-assisted development.
