Job summary

Sioux is hiring a Software Engineer to design, develop and test software for high‑tech products from our Mijdrecht office and customer sites. You’ll work in an agile environment, ensure quality through reviews and testing, and grow professionally in a collaborative team.

With 2–3 years of experience you’ll contribute across semiconductor, analytical, and medical industries while staying open to travel and evolving your skills with a €6000 training budget and flexible 32–40 hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, Technical Informatics, or Computer Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience in semiconductor, medical, or analytical industry.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns, UML, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong Dutch and English communication.
• Willing to travel with a valid EU driver’s license.

As a Software Engineer C#/C++/JAVA, you develop and test software for high-tech products and machines.

In this role, you support our customers in the semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment industries, within the triangle of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle, by delivering smart, sustainable, and reliable software solutions. Your software expertise plays an essential role in bringing these high-tech solutions to life.

This is what you bring to the table

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technical Informatics, or Computer Engineering
• You have at least 2-3 years of experience in technical software development
• You have experience in technical domains such as the semiconductor, medical, or analytical industry
• You have knowledge of various development methodologies and techniques such as Design - Patterns, UML, and Agile
• You are a team player and keep the common goal in mind
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• You possess a valid European driver’s license and are willing to travel
