Job summary

InSpace is hiring a Software Engineer to extend the NOVA AI platform, focusing on AI-driven workflows, backend systems, and scalable orchestration. You will integrate AI models, external platforms, and customer data to build reliable, production-ready software.

You’ll collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions, while contributing to engineering quality and fast-moving development practices on-site at Eindhoven.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, Automation Engineer, or similar.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Python.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Experience or strong interest in building AI-powered applications and workflow automations.
• LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks is a plus.
• Familiar with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud environments; building reliable, scalable services.
• Experience with n8n, workflow orchestration, SaaS integrations, marketing tech, SEO tooling, or automation platforms is a plus.
• Ability to independently scope, design, and deliver solutions; ownership mindset; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve software systems that power AI-driven marketing workflows across content generation, optimization, publishing, and reporting.
• Build and maintain workflow automations using tools such as n8n and custom backend services.
• Develop and maintain API integrations, webhooks, and external system connections.
• Build AI-powered workflows using LLMs, prompt engineering, tool-calling, and orchestration frameworks.
• Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, retries, and observability to improve platform reliability.
• Evaluate and improve AI output through testing, guardrails, and continuous optimization.
• Rapidly prototype new ideas and help transform experiments into production-ready solutions.
• Use AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar tooling as part of daily workflow.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to identify opportunities and solve customer problems.
• Perform code reviews, knowledge sharing, and help others grow.
• Contribute to technical discussions by identifying trade-offs, risks, design considerations, and implementation approaches.

Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who combines strong technical execution with curiosity, ownership, and a passion for building reliable software. In this role, you’ll help expand and improve the core systems behind NOVA while growing your expertise across AI integrations, backend development, automation, and scalable platform engineering.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions. Beyond delivering features, you’ll contribute to engineering quality, and help improve how we build software in a fast-moving environment where learning, experimentation, and ownership are highly valued.

This is a role with direct impact on product functionality, platform reliability, engineering effectiveness, and the continued evolution of our AI software platform.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• You have strong experience building software with TypeScript and Python.
• You have hands-on experience with APIs, webhooks, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.
• You have experience with, or a strong interest in, building AI-powered applications and workflow automations.
• Experience with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks is a strong plus.
• You are familiar with Google Cloud Platform, or similar cloud environments, and understand how to build reliable, scalable services.
• Experience with n8n, workflow orchestration, SaaS integrations, marketing technology, SEO tooling, or automation platforms is a strong plus.
• You can independently scope, design, and deliver solutions within your team or product area.
• You take ownership of your work and consistently deliver high-quality code with reliability, maintainability, and security in mind.
• You communicate clearly, raise blockers early, and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You are eager to grow as an engineer, learn from senior engineers, and contribute to a collaborative team culture through code reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
• You actively stay informed about new technologies, engineering practices, AI tooling, and industry trends.
• You have experience with AI-assisted development tools and know how to use them effectively while maintaining engineering quality.

• You are available full-time at our office at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.
