Job summary

Alewijnse is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and implement control software for complex electro-technical and automation installations across water treatment and process industries.

You will translate customer requirements into effective PLC and SCADA solutions, test rigorously in-house and on customer premises, and commission on site while continuously updating your knowledge and contributing to new standards and norms.

Qualifications

• Diploma HBO Automation and/or Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of, and experience with, PLC and SCADA systems.
• Willingness to travel.

Job description

You will work together with your fellow Software engineers on the control software of complex electro-technical and automation installations in the (drinking) water and process industry. You get your energy from offering the best-fit solution for our customers in the various market segments such as Food, Chemical, Geothermal, Manufacturing Industry, Water Purification, and Drinking Water Productions!

What you need:

• You translate customer requirements into a control solution;
• Writing PLC and SCADA software;
• Testing this software both in the office and at the customer's premises;
• Commissioning software on site;Keeping your knowledge level up to date;
• You co-develop and implement new standards and norms.
