Job summary

Alewijnse is looking for a Hardware Engineer to take the lead on the electrical design of power generation, storage and distribution systems within maritime and industrial projects. You will work within a project team and consult the technical project manager to ensure a strong, coherent system design.

You bring several years of hardware engineering experience, a solid understanding of marine systems, and an analytical mindset.

Job description

As Hardware Engineer, you will be the person responsible within the project team for the electrical design of the power generation, storage and distribution system. Sustainable techniques such as hybrid solutions are central to this.Naturally, you will do this in consultation with the technical project manager, who is ultimately responsible for the technical design.

• Realisation according to customer requirements and regulations;
• Delivery of quality technical solutions within budget and project planning;
• Recognition of delivery scope deviations;
• Monitoring and reporting progress according to project planning.
