Job summary

Sioux Technologies in the Netherlands is seeking an Embedded Software Designer to develop and test software for high-tech products and machines. You will support customers in semiconductor, analytical instrumentation, and medical equipment sectors and work within a triad of Nijmegen, Enschede, and Zwolle.

You will design modular architectures, write embedded software in C, C++, or Rust for real-time platforms, and collaborate with electronics/mechatronics engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in technical software development across diverse product environments.
• Experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux, and embedded environments.

Responsibilities

• Designing modular software architectures with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Coaching junior colleagues and ensuring overall product quality.
• Collaborating with electronics and mechatronics engineers in multidisciplinary teams.
• Taking responsibility for system architecture and technical decisions.
