Job summary
ALTEN in Eindhoven is seeking a dedicated Software Delivery Lead to join our growing software division and contribute to cutting-edge high-tech projects.
You will lead delivery from scope to launch, mentor developers, drive Agile/SAFe practices, and translate business needs into technical tasks while aligning with stakeholders.
Fluency in English is required; 3+ years in leadership and a strong background in C/C++, Python, Linux will help you succeed in this role at ALTEN.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Software, CS, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or technical leadership.
- Experience in a complex high-tech environment (semiconductor, precision equipment, advanced manufacturing).
- Strong software engineering background (C/C++, Python, Linux, UML, ClearCase, GIT, QT).
- Exposure to hardware development or system integration a plus.
- Strong planning with Agile/SAFe and solid risk/stakeholder management.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and delivery of key software projects from scope to launch
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and technical decision-making to ensure robust and clean code
- Support and mentor developers, fostering a collaborative environment
- Drive agile practices to maintain steady team velocity and clear out blockers
- Translate business requirements into technical tasks and communicate progress to stakeholders
