Digital Wizards B.V. seeks a Social Media Manager to own the social media strategy for a diverse client portfolio. You’ll decide which channel plays which role, build content calendars, and create posts, Reels, and carousels that drive engagement.

You’ll translate client goals into compelling content, collaborate with teammates, and adapt tactics based on data. The role offers a 12-month contract with potential for a permanent position or freelance continuation, fully remote or Almere-based.

• Freelance rate: €50,00 – €75,00 per hour (depending on experience)
• Type of employment: certain time, fixed after 12 months — or freelance/self-employed
• Hours: 24 to 40 hours per week, part-time or full-time
• Location: Almere or fully remote

As a Social Media Manager at Digital Wizards, you’ll be responsible for the social media strategy of your own client portfolio. You’ll determine which channel plays which role, build content calendars that are actually implemented, and create the posts, Reels, and carousels that fall under each one. You’ll serve as a sounding board for clients and translate their commercial goals into content that people actually want to see.

• At least 2–3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in an agency or B2B environment.
• Strong on LinkedIn and active on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Minimum higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking.
• You write sharp, natural copy in Dutch and think in terms of hooks, not press releases.
• You create your own images and videos using Canva, CapCut, or Adobe, and you’re comfortable being in front of the camera or directing others to do so.
• Data-driven: You focus on engagement, reach, and conversion, and know what to do when a format isn’t working.
• Experience with both organic and paid social media is a major plus.
• Proactive attitude: you come up with the next idea yourself before anyone even asks for it.
