Job summary

Koninklijke Niestern Sander B.V. in Farmsum, Netherlands, is seeking a skilled welder for our EasyMax ship construction project for Royal Wagenborg.

You will produce high-quality welds using a double fillet weld machine and a weaving welding machine, following strict safety and quality standards on site. You hold BmbE level 3 and Mag level 3 diplomas with relevant welding certificates, and you thrive in a precise, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• BmbE level 3 and Mag level 3 diplomas with welding certificates 138 BW/FW PE/PB, 136 BW/FW PF/PB, 111 BW/FW PF/PB, preferably 111 BW/FW PC/PB.
• Experience in shipbuilding welding is a plus.
• Work accurately and follow company and safety regulations.
• Thrive in a friendly and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality welds for EasyMax ships using a double fillet weld machine and weaving welder.
• Determine optimal welding sequence with foreman and control arc length, travel speed, and electrode/torch positioning.
• Clean welds by removing slag, weld spatter, and brushing the weld.
• Collaborate with team to ensure ships are ready for sailing by year-end.
