Job description

Do you have a passion for shipbuilding and construction? And do you want to strengthen a team at a leading shipyard and construction company in Nijmegen/Druten. We are specialized in the design and construction of various maritime structures, including bridges, lock gates, floating platforms and jack-up platforms that are constructed from container-sized pontoons. With approximately 150 dedicated employees, we strive for innovation, quality and safety in all our projects.

As a Shipbuilder / Construction Worker, you will work in our heavy construction department, where you will be involved in the assembly of various structures according to detailed technical drawings. Your work includes assembling roro linkspans, lock gates, bridges, pontoons, jack-up platforms, dredging equipment, container pontoons and work vessels. This includes grinding, drilling, welding, burning and autogenous cutting of various workpieces.

You:
- Have an educational background in shipbuilding.
- Have work experience in a similar shipbuilding function.
- You can read technical drawings independently and work accurately according to specifications.
- Are in possession of a VCA certificate.
