Job summary

Shift Manager at DHL Supply Chain in the Netherlands leads operations and a team of Team Leaders to drive improvements in processes and customer satisfaction. You coach and develop people, ensure safe and smooth operations, and push for a culture of performance.

You report to the Operations Manager and manage roughly 2–3 Team Leaders and 30–35 Operators, shaping work instructions and continually optimizing workflows to deliver value for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams (around 20 employees) and creating a positive, performance-driven work culture.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Basic understanding of logistics processes for quick adaptation in operations.
• Strong social and communication skills to win over employees and customers.
• Creative and innovative mindset to improve processes.
• Persuasive leadership style with clear direction and active listening.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and a team of Team Leaders, focusing on process improvements and customer satisfaction.

• Monitor customer contact and adjust processes to enhance service.
