Job summary

Flink Food in Lelystad, Netherlands, is seeking a Shift Lead (m/f/d) to act as the Hub Manager’s right hand. You will lead on the floor, supervise pickers and riders, and ensure orders go out on time and in perfect condition.

Your role combines hands-on operations with people leadership, including coaching the team, maintaining safety, and handling inbound/outbound tasks. The base pay is €15,96–€17,14 per hour gross, with 25 vacation days and a 10% staff discount.

Qualifications

• You enjoy working with people and act as the team contact.
• You are hands-on and enjoy operations work.
• You stay calm under pressure and motivate your team daily.
• You have some managerial experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or catering.
• You are available for at least 24 hours per week.
• You can work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the floor, guiding pickers and riders during shifts.
• Own productivity and safety during shifts, keeping operations tight.
• Be hands-on with picking, packing, and inbounding as part of daily tasks.
• Step in for the Hub Manager in their absence and help drive the hub toward fast order fulfillment.
• Support all hub areas: safety, people, inventory, equipment, hygiene, and onboarding.
