Job summary

Videojet Technologies Europe B.V. in the Netherlands is seeking a Manager to lead Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) across our distribution and production operations in Europe, driving continuous improvement and a strong SHEQ culture.

You will report to the Director of Operations, EMEA and guide a small team while collaborating with production, warehouse and management to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant discipline (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety).
• 3–5 years of SHEQ/EHS and/or Quality experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience implementing EHS programs, audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and ISO standards.
• Experience with management systems, ATEX, and digital EHS platforms such as Cority or Gensuite is desirable.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety, Health and Environment activities, ensuring RI&E compliance, applicable legislation, inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and EHS policies.
• Drive environmental and sustainability initiatives, including pollution prevention, waste and energy reduction, EED, ISO 14001, ESG, and CSRD-related activities.
• Lead Quality management, ensuring adherence to ISO and internal standards, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions, and maintaining audit and inspection documentation.
• Oversee laboratory activities, including laboratory equipment, testing, and the management of recipes and item setup for inks, make-ups, and cleaners.
• Lead and develop a team of three Quality professionals, while mentoring production and warehouse teams on SHEQ topics and coordinating mandatory safety training.
• Partner across the organization as a member of the Management Team, including supporting crisis management and business continuity, leading the Safety Health Wellbeing and Environment (VGWM) committee, and acting as a liaison with the Works Council and other stakeholders.
• Act as a back-up for the Production Manager during periods of holiday or sickness.
