Job description

Step into the role of SHE & Operational Risk Lead (0.7 FTE) and make an impact! In this dynamic position, you will combine safety management with operational support, directly contributing to a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment. You will develop and monitor SHE programs that meet both legal requirements and business objectives. This includes conducting Risk Inventories (RI&E) and Task Risk Analyses (TRA), organizing SHE audits and safety walks, and implementing continuous improvements. You will play a key role in promoting safety awareness by organizing SHE training sessions, campaigns, and workshops, ensuring that safety becomes a fundamental part of our organizational culture. Additionally, you will lead the First Aid organization, create emergency plans, and ensure that all first aiders are well‑trained and prepared. You will carry out environmental management activities such as monitoring energy consumption, reducing waste streams, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will actively work on implementing our Environmental Management System (EMS) and contribute to the organization's sustainability efforts. You will also be involved in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, identifying opportunities for process improvements and developing strategies to optimize operational performance, always in line with our SHE and sustainability goals. What do we ask for this role?
  • Education and experience: You have a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Management, or a similar field. Additionally, you have at least 5 years of experience in an SHE role, preferably in a production or operational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of SHE processes and regulations: You have extensive experience with SHE processes and regulations, including conducting RI&E, TRA, and audits, and can effectively apply them in practice.
  • Leadership skills and safety culture: You have strong leadership abilities and can promote a safe working environment by actively encouraging the safety culture and motivating employees.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: You can quickly identify complex problems and implement sustainable solutions, continuously improving processes.

  • Flexibility in SHE tasks and operational support: You can work flexibly, combining SHE tasks with operational support, managing both areas efficiently and effectively.
