J&T Express seeks an experienced maintenance supervisor in Amsterdam to lead fault diagnosis, emergency repairs, and planned maintenance for sorting and logistics equipment. You will manage a maintenance team, oversee spare parts inventory, and ensure high uptime for conveyors and automated sorters.

Qualifications include electrician or electrical engineering certifications, experience with PLC-based controls, and fluent English and Chinese communication.

Competenze

• Experience with automated sorting equipment such as DWS, singulation systems, belt sorters, cross-belt sorters, or wheel sorters.
• Professional certifications (electrician, welding, or electrical engineering) preferred.
• Proficient in maintenance and repair of logistics equipment including conveyors and automated sorters.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and understand PLC-based control systems, networks, and maintenance software.
• Strong team management, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese communication.

Job Responsibilities

• Fault Management & Emergency Response: Coordinate fault diagnosis and emergency repair of production and operational equipment within the assigned area. Organize urgent repairs and component replacements to minimize equipment downtime and ensure high equipment availability.
• Routine Maintenance & Inspection Management: Develop and implement procedures for routine equipment maintenance and inspections. Organize daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities, review maintenance records, and supervise the proper management and designated storage of equipment, tools, spare parts, and the surrounding work environment.
• Planned Maintenance Management: Coordinate scheduled equipment overhauls, including disassembly inspections, performance testing, accuracy calibration, and replacement of wear parts, in accordance with annual/monthly preventive maintenance (PM) plans. Review and confirm maintenance plans, tools, spare parts, and safety measures to ensure efficient completion of maintenance activities. Prepare maintenance reports covering equipment condition, replaced components, outstanding issues, and recommendations for improvement.
• Spare Parts Management: Establish and maintain a spare parts management system, define safety stock levels, standardize inbound and outbound inventory procedures, ensure the availability of spare parts for maintenance needs, and maintain an appropriate level of spare parts inventory.
• Equipment Team & Asset Records Management: Manage the equipment maintenance team and establish full lifecycle equipment records. Continuously optimize equipment maintenance and operational processes.

Requirements

• Familiar with the principles and operation of automated sorting equipment, such as DWS, singulation systems, narrow-belt sorters, cross-belt sorters, and wheel sorters, with extensive experience in equipment troubleshooting and fault resolution.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as an electrician certificate, welding certificate, or electrical engineering qualification, are preferred.
• Proficient in the maintenance and repair processes and standards for logistics equipment, including conveyor systems and automated sorting systems.
• Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams, with comprehensive technical knowledge of electrical automation, PLC-based control systems, network communications, and equipment maintenance software.
• Strong team management, planning and coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese.
