Tergos is seeking a ServiceNow Security Engineer in Utrecht for a freelance/payroll assignment. You will configure and customize ServiceNow SecOps modules (SIR, VR, TI, CC), design automated workflows, and integrate ServiceNow with third‑party security tools to strengthen threat protection. The role requires hands‑on experience with security operations, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks, plus strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills for advanced ServiceNow development.

For a valued client of Tergos in Utrecht, I am looking for a ServiceNow Security Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize the ServiceNow SecOps modules, including:
  • Security Incident Response (SIR)
  • Vulnerability Response (VR)
  • Threat Intelligence (TI)
  • Configuration Compliance (CC)
• Design and implement flows and scripts to automate and enhance security operations.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third-party security tools and APIs.
• Provide day-to-day operational support for SecOps functionalities and ensure platform stability.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with security platforms.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanners and data.
• Strong understanding of security operations, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
