Innova Search - Manufacturing & Engineering Specialist Recruiters in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Service & Repair Technician to diagnose faults, repair products and ensure they are fully tested before returning to customers, while supporting administration and warehouse tasks as needed. Full training will be provided to develop a long-term technical career.

The role offers a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, with an €3,330 monthly salary including 8% holiday allowance, plus benefits.

Qualifications

  • Experience in hands-on repair, assembly, testing or similar environments.
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and document work in English.
  • Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment and basic wiring concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical and electronic products.
  • Disassemble and reassemble products and components.
  • Test and calibrate equipment to defined standards.
  • Record test results and complete process documentation.
  • Carry out final inspection and quality checks before dispatch.

Service & Repair Technician - training provided

The Business

You will be joining a well-established, global manufacturing business specialising in precision-engineered products used across a range of industrial applications. The organisation has a strong focus on quality, reliability and supporting customers in demanding environments.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a hands‑on Service & Repair team, working on the diagnosis, repair and testing of electrical and electronic products.

This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands and naturally likes fixing or building things. You might currently be working in an assembly, production or testing environment, or have developed practical skills through hobbies such as electronics or PC building.

Alongside the technical work, you will also provide support across the Administration and Warehouse & Logistics departments when required, making this a varied role with exposure to different areas of the operation.

Full training will be provided, making this a strong opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term technical career.

The Role

You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, repairing products and ensuring they are fully tested and ready to return to customers.

Alongside this, you will follow structured processes, complete documentation and provide additional support across administration and warehouse activities when required.

Key areas include:

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on electrical and electronic products
  • Disassembling and reassembling products and components
  • Testing and calibrating equipment to defined standards
  • Working with small components, tools and technical drawings
  • Recording test results and completing process documentation
  • Carrying out final inspection and quality checks before dispatch
  • Creating and processing customer returns (RMAs), work orders, sales orders and purchase orders
  • Receiving, processing and storing incoming goods
  • Packing and shipping products
  • Supporting the Service, Administration and Warehouse & Logistics teams as required

This is a hands‑on role within a technical environment, requiring patience, attention to detail and a methodical approach.

  • Experience in assembly, production, testing or similar environments, or strong practical hobbies
  • Good attention to detail and patience when working on repetitive or precise tasks
  • Comfortable working with small components and following structured processes
  • Basic electrical or electronic understanding through work, study or personal interest
  • Familiarity with electrical/electronic test equipment
  • Good organisational skills and comfortable with basic administration and data entry
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions and complete documentation in English (essential)
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English within the team
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
  • Experience with electronics repair, testing or calibration
  • Use of tools or test equipment (e.g. multimeters)
  • Soldering or small‑component assembly experience
