Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Service Logistic Supervisor to join our EMEA service team at our office in 's-Hertogenbosch. You will be the backbone of our daily logistics operation and report to the Service Manager Logistics.

This role requires leadership, international logistics expertise, and hands-on process optimization. You will manage shipments, inventory and a small team, coordinating with depots and partners to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• MBO logistics education with relevant work and thinking level, or equivalent from extensive experience.
• At least 5 years of proven logistics and leadership experience in international logistics, inventory control and planning environments.
• Process knowledge and mastery.
• Knowledge and experience with office tools (Excel, spreadsheets) and SAP.
• Natural leadership; able to make decisions.
• Experience in international parts logistics, shipping and familiarity with customs documents.

Responsibilities

• Together with the close-knit team, you will be responsible for daily shipments, replenishments, returns, tracking and inventory.
• Your working area is EMEA and after a thorough induction period you will lead and manage a small team.
• You will be responsible for the team and daily operation which includes: EMEA depots inventory management; Shipments to and from the customer back to us and its administration and record keeping; You ensure an efficient way of working and propose improvements where you see opportunities.
• Maintain good contacts with partners and suppliers; anticipate and look ahead.
• Monitor internal processes of the team and collaborate with other departments; implement improvements where possible.
• Be in control with attention to detail; ensure clear internal communication and cooperation across teams.

We are looking for an experienced Service Logistic Supervisor to join our exciting EMEA service team at our office in 's-Hertogenbosch. Because we are growing fast this position is an extension of our logistics team and you will report to the Service Manager Logistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This is definitely not an entry level position, as Service Logistic Supervisor you are, together with your colleagues, the backbone of our daily logistics operation.

• Together with the close-knit team, you will be responsible for daily shipments, replenishments, returns, tracking and inventory.
• Your working area is EMEA and after a thorough induction period you will lead and manage a small team.
• You will be responsible for the team and daily operation which includes:
  • EMEA depots inventory management.
  • Shipments to and from the customer back to us and its administration and record keeping.
  • You ensure an efficient way of working and handling and make improvement proposals where you see opportunities.
• You maintain good contacts with our partners and suppliers, you try to look ahead and anticipate.
• You monitor the internal processes of the team and with other departments and implement improvements where possible.
• You like to be in control and have an eye for details because you know from experience that that is where the differences are made.
• You ensure good cooperation within our own team but certainly also outside with other departments and play a key role in clear internal communication.

Qualifications:

• You have done MBO logistics with corresponding work and thinking level, or equivalent obtained through extensive experience.
• At least 5 years of proven logistics and leadership experience in International logistics, inventory control and planning environments.
• Process knowledge and mastery.
• Knowledge and experience with office (Excel, spreadsheets) and SAP.
• You have natural leadership in you and dare to make decisions.
• Experience in international parts logistics and shipping, customs documents are a plus.
• Dutch and English in word and writing is a must.
• Integrity, result-oriented and customer-oriented.
• You have excellent communication skills, and you think analytically and problem-solving.
• You enjoy working together and are a team player, we do it together.
• Proactive and planned work are your second nature.
• You like to be in control and have a helicopter view.
• Flexible and can quickly switch between different tasks.
• You are sociable and have a healthy sense of humor.
• You live at an acceptable travel distance (30 KM)from our office in 's-Hertogenbosch.
• You are representative and in possession of a driving license (B).
