Chart Industries’ Howden Netherlands in Hengelo is seeking a Service Engineer to join the Maintenance Team. You will support start-up, overhaul, repair, assembly and commissioning of fans and related installations at customer sites in the Netherlands and abroad, under the supervision of the Senior Service Engineer.

Requires MBO Technical (Mechanical Engineering or similar), at least 2 years in a technician role, ability to prepare clear daily reports, strong service mindset, flexibility, and

Responsabilidades

• Prepare materials and tools based on the scope of work to be fully prepared and avoid delays.
• Under supervision perform activities such as disassembly and assembly, installation, alignment, testing, and related tasks.
• Control own performed work and correct where needed.
• Ask questions to develop own technical knowledge and show initiative.
• Provide simple week and time lists; take initiatives to ensure work runs smoothly.
• Follow set quality and safety requirements and report unsafe situations.

Howden Netherlands in Hengelo is part of Chart Industries and is the "Center of Excellence" for cooling fans, with production facilities in Europe and China. The fans are used in cooling towers, air-cooled steam condensers and air-cooled heat exchangers for use a wide range of markets like power, oil & gas, chemical and HVAC (datacenters). We are now looking for a Service Engineer to join our Maintenance Team located in Hengelo and who will support activities within the Service Center. You will, under full supervision of the Senior Service Engineer, perform start-up activities, overhaul, repair, assemble and set up new or used fans and installations at customersin the Netherlands and abroad, according with the customer’s set safety and quality requirements.

What Will You Do?

• Make the necessary preparation based on the scope of work and collect the required materials and tools to be fully prepared to prevent delays according to the instructions of the (Senior) Service Engineer
• Under supervision of the (Senior) Service Engineer perform activities such as disassembly and assembly, protocol, installation, adjustment, alignment, vibration analysis, transportation, lifting and test runs
• Control of own performed work and corrects where needed.
• Ask questions shows initiative to further develop own technical knowledge
• Provide simple week and time lists Takes initiatives to ensure work runs optimally.
• Follows up on set quality and safety requirements. Observes and reports unsafe situations. Contributes to the improvement of own safety
