Are you ready to design high-impact IT service solutions and help customers within the warehouse and intralogistics domain achieve operational excellence? We are looking for a Service Consultant IT who combines strong technical expertise with a customer-focused mindset and an affinity for cybersecurity, services, and sales.

What will you be doing?

As a Service Consultant IT, you operate at the intersection of IT, operational technology (OT), and intralogistics. You design and propose tailored IT service solutions for customers operating complex warehouse and material handling environments. You play a leading role in the full service offering lifecycle, from requirements analysis to customer acceptance.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading the end-to-end IT service quotation process, from customer requirements analysis to the creation and coordination of high-quality service proposals.
• Designing IT service solutions for IT- or intralogistics-based companies within the warehouse domain.
• Working with ERP systems and environments with a WMS and/or Material Flow Control background.
• Supporting and optimizing IT/OT-related processes within automated warehouse operations.
• Solving complex customer requests and translating business challenges into feasible, high-quality IT service solutions.
• Taking ownership of solution quality, service effort estimations, and technical feasibility, with support from a system architect.
• Managing customer expectations and guiding customers toward acceptance of proposed solutions.
• Handling multiple service requests simultaneously while maintaining clear prioritization and overview.
• Proactively advising customers on optimal use of IT services aligned with their operational and business goals.
• Building and strengthening long-term collaborations and partnerships with existing customers.
• Conducting detailed needs assessments to identify improvement opportunities in customer operations.
• Contributing to IT service lifecycle planning to ensure system availability, continuity, and customer satisfaction.

What are we looking for?

You are a communicative and analytical professional who feels comfortable operating in complex technical environments and engaging with customers at different organizational levels.

We are looking for someone with:

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Intralogistics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of experience within the warehouse or intralogistics domain.
• A background in ERP systems and WMS and/or Material Flow Control environments.
• Experience with IT/OT-related processes in automated or semi-automated environments.
• Affinity or experience with cybersecurity, combined with service-oriented and commercial (sales-related) activities.
• Strong English communication skills; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 30% to customer locations.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to independently resolve complex technical and customer-related challenges.
