Cargo Care Solutions is the international maritime industry specialist in service and parts for cargo access systems, cargo pump systems and hydraulics. MARPRO is seeking a Service Engineer Deepwell Pumps to join their Pumps Division, where you will take care of inspection, service, maintenance and repair of deepwell pumps in ports or at shipyards all over the world.

Your job requires frequent travel; you attend vessel dockings or board ships in ports to perform inspections and troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience.
• Fluent English; Dutch or additional language skills are a plus.
• Read construction drawings, manuals and hydraulic schemes.
• Ability to report service activities in writing.
• Willingness to travel abroad frequently.
• Strong customer focus and service mindset.
• Experience with hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Able to work independently and responsibly.
• Able to work under pressure and safety focused.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, maintenance, repair, upgrades and service of deepwell pumps (any brand).
• Describe issues clearly in your report to clients.
• Recommend future replacement of parts, scope of service/repair work and possible material upgrades.
• Safety assessment to the best of your ability.
• Work safely and responsibly according to procedures.
• Occasional voyage repairs.
• Reconditioning of impeller, mechanical seals and shafts if applicable.

On behalf of Cargo Care Solutions, MARPRO is currently seeking a Service Engineer Deepwell Pumps to join their Pumps Division, where you will take care of inspection, service, maintenance and repair of deepwell pumps in ports or at shipyards all over the world.

The job

Cargo Care Solutions is a fast growing platform for all requirements in the field of cargo related ship’s equipment. Deepwell pumps are widely used on chemical, gas and product carriers all over the world. Cargo Care Solutions’ Pump division is growing and therefore looking for an experienced Service Engineer.

Your job requires frequent travel. You attend vessel dockings where you take care of the pump service. In some cases you go on board in the port in order to do an inspection or execute troubleshooting. The safety of ship and crew are depending on your expertise, but they can rely on you, as you know what you are doing.

We offer a proactive and intensive onboarding process and after this process, you and your colleagues from the service department are responsible for pursuing our high standards and supporting us in the further development of our company.

Additional responsibility

• Inspection, maintenance, repair, upgrades and service of deepwell pumps (any brand).

Your qualifications

• You have relevant working experience

• You are able to communicate clearly and fluently in English

• Command of Dutch, or any additional language skills are considered beneficial

• Know-how in reading construction drawings, manuals and hydraulic schemes

• Ability to report about service activities in writing

• Willingness to travel abroad frequently

• Strong customer focus and service minded mentality

• Experience in working with hydraulic and mechanic systems

• You can work independently and responsibly

• You are able to work under pressure and dedicated to safety.
