Job summary

i2d consulting is seeking an experienced manufacturing systems professional to own end-to-end service delivery for MES landscapes and linked applications. The role focuses on ensuring production-critical systems are highly available and governed by robust incident and change processes.

You will drive improvements, coordinate with global vendors, and align engineering, infrastructure and business needs to deliver reliable manufacturing services across the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes including production execution, quality, traceability, work orders, routing, genealogy and shopfloor operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and manufacturing application landscapes.
• Experience managing application support, incident, problem, change and release management in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Deep ITIL service management experience with SLA, KPI, service reporting and governance.
• Experience leading global support teams, vendors and transition activities for manufacturing applications.

Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes including production execution, quality, traceability, work orders, routing, genealogy and shopfloor operations.

Hands-on knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and manufacturing application landscapes.

Strong understanding of manufacturing integrations between MES, ERP, PLM, SCADA, historians, automation systems and plant-floor equipment.

Ability to engage with manufacturing engineers, production teams and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into service outcomes.

Experience managing application support, incident, problem, change and release management in a complex manufacturing environment.

Deep ITIL service management experience with SLA, KPI, service reporting, continual service improvement and governance.

Experience leading global support teams, vendors and transition activities for manufacturing applications.

Strong stakeholder management, escalation management and communication skills.

Good to Have

Knowledge of SAP ME/MII, Opcenter, Apriso or other MES solutions.

Semiconductor manufacturing exposure.

Cloud, data analytics and manufacturing reporting platforms.

Automation, OPC/UA, Kepware or industrial connectivity knowledge
