ServerDirect, a Dutch IT company, seeks a hands-on server assembler to translate configurations into physical builds. You will gather components, assemble servers, install operating systems and drivers, test setups, and package them per customer instructions. Collaboration with sales and a practical, no-nonsense team culture are core to the role.

The position offers onboarding and training, travel allowances, and opportunities for personal development in a dynamic environment in Gouda.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an MBO in a technical field.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience with installing operating systems, drivers, and management software.
• Knowledge of Windows and DOS; basic knowledge of VMware and Linux.
• Analytical and able to communicate analysis clearly to colleagues.
• Proficient in Dutch (speech, writing, and conversation).

• Monitoring incoming and outgoing orders;
• Gathering and verifying components;
• Assembling servers according to configuration;
• Testing and verifying configurations made;
• Personalizing and packaging according to customer instructions;
• Working closely with the Sales department.

Your background

• Have completed at least an MBO in a technical field;
• Experience in a similar role;
• Experience with installing operating systems, drivers, and management software;
• Demonstrable knowledge of Windows and DOS, basic knowledge of VMware and Linux;
• Analytical and able to communicate analysis clearly to your colleagues;
• Proficient in the Dutch language in speech, writing, and conversation.

You have an advantage if

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position;
• You have a hobby in IT or a passion for IT;
• You have a good command of the English language, both in speech, writing, and conversation.
