Job summary

DEPT is seeking a senior SEO Competence Lead to drive organic growth across major EMEA clients from Amsterdam/Rotterdam. You will own strategic SEO/GEO initiatives, guide a team of consultants, and deliver hands-on optimization with measurable business impact.

The role requires deep SEO experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work across Dutch and international clients. A hybrid work policy with flexible location is provided, along with strong learning and health benefits.

Qualifications

Have at least 5 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record across diverse brands.
Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into optimizations.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement high-impact SEO/GEO strategies aligned with client goals.
Guide SEO consultants and ensure roadmaps are executed with quality.
Remain an expert practitioner while leading strategic initiatives and deep-dive analyses.
Lead SEO/GEO contributions for new business pitches and special projects.
Track performance and provide reports with clear insights and actions.
Stay at the forefront of organic search trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
