DEPT is seeking a senior SEO Competence Lead to drive organic growth across major EMEA clients from Amsterdam/Rotterdam. You will own strategic SEO/GEO initiatives, guide a team of consultants, and deliver hands-on optimization with measurable business impact.

The role requires deep SEO experience, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work across Dutch and international clients. A hybrid work policy with flexible location is provided, along with strong learning and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of experience in SEO with a proven track record across diverse brands.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn data into optimizations.
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to explain technical ideas clearly to stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement high-impact SEO/GEO strategies aligned with client goals.
• Guide SEO consultants and ensure roadmaps are executed with quality.
• Remain an expert practitioner while leading strategic initiatives and deep-dive analyses.
• Lead SEO/GEO contributions for new business pitches and special projects.
• Track performance and provide reports with clear insights and actions.
• Stay at the forefront of organic search trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
