Job summary

Forescout Technologies in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Sensor Technologies team. You will implement new capabilities, classify assets, and detect anomalies across networks.

You will manage significant parts of the development lifecycle, from design to delivery and documentation, writing reusable, testable code and collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure robust production software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of C++ development experience.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience developing in Linux and containerized apps (Docker).
• Familiar with TCP/IP and networking concepts.
• Experience with CI workflows and tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve capabilities in our products to classify network assets and detect anomalies.
• Manage significant portion of the development lifecycle from design to delivery and documentation.
• Write reusable, tested, efficient code.
