Job summary
Thales in Hengelo, Netherlands, is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop the complete radar software stack within the Sensor Processing group. Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering/Informatic/Electrical Engineering
- Approximately 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Extensive experience with Linux
- Strong programming in C++ and MATLAB
- Experience developing real-time software for complex systems
- Interest in radar control, HPC and DSP
- RDMA/OpenCL/CUDA is a strong advantage
- Experience with software profiling and performance optimisation
- Willing to develop knowledge in radar and DSP domains
Responsibilities
- Develop the complete radar software stack
- Work on radar control, transmission scheduling and real-time processing
- Implement algorithms for object detection, tracking and presentation to operators
- Collaborate in Agile teams and maintain software architecture and toolchains
