Job summary

Spektrum supports apex purchasers and NATO partners with specialist services in aerospace, defence, and IT. The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - VMware & Data Center will oversee virtualization, storage, and data centre infrastructure within an IaaS environment to ensure reliable service delivery.

Responsibilities include daily operations, design and implementation support, system administration, and ongoing infrastructure improvement in collaboration with senior technicians and service delivery

Qualifications

• Strong practical knowledge of data center infrastructure, operations, technologies, and standards.
• Strong experience with servers and storage systems.
• Solid virtualization experience across data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operation and maintenance of IaaS services.
• Support design, engineering, implementation, operation and integration of infrastructure hosting services.
• Administer and maintain virtual infrastructure and data centre systems.
• Monitor data centre hardware and perform daily checks, updating CMDB accordingly.
• Contribute to SOPs and change management processes and assist with incident resolution.
