Job summary

Finom, Amsterdam-based fintech, seeks a Senior Treasury Manager to lead our treasury function across Europe. You will own liquidity, funding, and safeguarding of client funds in a regulated setup, driving policy, controls, and automation.

This role blends regulation, liquidity, and commercial impact in a hands-on capacity. You will work closely with regulators, external partners, and internal teams to build a scalable treasury that supports growth across the EU, including a future focus on IFRS

Qualifications

• 5+ years in treasury, ALM, fixed income, or portfolio management in a regulated financial institution or asset manager.
• Direct experience with client money or safeguarding under PSD2/EMD is essential.
• Experience building or rebuilding a treasury function with tangible impact.
• Strong bond math, yield, duration, and MMF mechanics knowledge.
• Proven track record automating treasury processes and implementing treasury accounting systems.
• Comfort working with position-level data and direct data interrogation.
• Experience with regulators, external audits, and external asset managers.
• Sound judgement under time pressure in a lean environment with accountability.
• Strong Excel skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own liquidity positioning and float management across entities and accounts daily.
• Manage intraday funding, nostro and correspondent accounts, and collateral obligations.
• Oversee investment policy, limit framework, and instrument eligibility monitoring.
• Develop governance artifacts: decision logs, packs, and delegated authority registers.
• Implement and integrate investment accounting tooling and data feeds.
• Engage bank, custodian, broker, and asset-manager relationships; review mandates and fees.
• Provide NII forecasting, attribution, and integration into financial planning.
• Deliver a monthly portfolio close with reconciled performance reporting.
