Job summary

BlueHeart Energy seeks a Senior System Engineer to translate customer and product requirements into clear system specifications for thermoacoustic heat pump systems. You will ensure requirements, interfaces, and performance targets are implemented across the product lifecycle, working with the Head of Development and Product/Component Owners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in complex product development.
• Domain expertise in at least two of the following: thermodynamics and heat transfer, energy systems and applications, control systems, dynamic systems
• Understanding of: System architecture definition and functional decomposition
• Requirements management
• Configuration management
• Verification & validation
• DfX methodologies

Responsibilities

• Document system- and sub-system architectures and interfaces
• Build system models to analyze functional behavior and predict design changes
• Define integration strategy for complete system functionality and performance
• Lead FMEA and risk assessment
• Lead requirements management and traceability
• Define verification strategies and acceptance criteria
• Support certification and compliance activities
• Foster MBSE and architecture management adoption
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions

Education

BSc/MSc Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace or equivalent
